Every state, along with the United States Constitution requires search, and arrest warrants, even warrantless searches to follow the procedural code of the federal, and state laws. The legal definition of a crime is an offense against persons and punishable by statutes of the states and Congress. The purpose of the law is punishing the offender according to the statutes of each state using the principals establish by the lawmakers. The positive point on due process protecting the rights for the United States citizens. The use of force levels shows different levels of engagement using voice, hand, and weapon defense. The expanding crisis of individual rights violations concerning digital, and electronic devices concerns the courts working on the possibility of new laws.
Public Safety, Trust, and Rights
The moral and ethical behaviors show the core value concepts of the law enforcement officer, public, or private uses in the difficult decisions made every day (Davidson, 2006). These difficult decisions became some of the toughest tests an experienced law enforcement officer, or deals with daily. The confidence of public safety, trust, and individual rights ensures everyone working within law enforcement uses core values of integrity, honesty, fairness, and truthfulness. Every law enforcement officer trained in ethics, cultural diversity, and sensitivity becomes more prepared and confident. This understanding of cultural diversity and core values foundations defines the balanced concepts federal, state, and local law enforcement uses to understand any situation within any community (Davidson, 2006).
Use of Force Continuum
According to, Professor Hickman (2012), the professional officer's experience, federal, and state mandates, available law enforcement technologies, the complex relationships existing between the public, corrections, and private security officers along citizens within a jurisdiction making excessive use of force rare. The experienced police, correctional, and private security officers should show professional control, and restraint throughout any criminal, or emergency situation. The experienced officer understand the use of force minimums along with the maximum deadly force to control the person within a given situation (Hickman, 2006).
