Round 2

Ireland (√) S. Italy

For 26 games played between Ireland and Italy, Ireland has won 22 of them. For the most recent 10 games played, Ireland only lost once with a small score difference in March 2013. Besides, in the history of Six Nations Championship, Ireland has won the championship for three times. On the other hand, Italy has won Wooden Spoon twelve times since 2000. Based on their performance before, Ireland is one of the strong teams without doubt, while Italy is almost the weakest team among the six teams. Therefore, Ireland will beat Italy.[pic 1]

England (√) Vs. Wales

The rugby stats show that for England fighting against Wales, win and loss seems quite similar, and nearly 10% of the games reached a drawn. So, I guess it will be a tough game between these two teams. Looking at games in recent years, we can see that England won more games since 2014 (Wales won more games from 2011 to 2013) and has gained the championship in 2016 and 2017. It seems that England performed better these years so I vote for England to win.[pic 2][pic 3]

Scotland Vs. France (√)

France has won 57.8% games against Scotland and from 2008 only lose once. For championship points from 2000 to 2016, France has a score of 126, almost twice than Scotland’s score of 62. So, I think France will win against Scotland.

Round 3

France (√) VS. Italy

For 39 games played between France and Italy, France has won 92.3% of them. For the most recent 10 games played, Ireland only lost once with a small score difference in February 2013. Besides, in round 1 this year, France has a close score of 13-15 against Ireland, so I assume these two teams match each other in strength. Then in round 2, Ireland beat Italy with a big score difference of 56-19. Therefore, France will beat Italy.[pic 4][pic 5]
