All states but two have some type of bullying law. Only 14 of these states have a law that in-volves cyber-bullying. Connecticut, California, Kansas, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Hampshire, Ore-gon, Utah and Washington leave it up to schools to deal with by having them adopt some sort of school policy and giving school officials and teachers training on how to deal with it. Arkansas classifies it as Class B misdemeanor. Hawaii charges a fine of up to $100 dollars for each offense. Louisiana imple-ments anyone under 18 gets up to a $500 fine or up to six months of jail or both. Missouri charges a
Class A misdemeanor unless the person is over the age of 21 or has done it before in that case it is con-sidered a Class D felony. North Carolina charges a Class 1 misdemeanor for anyone over 18 and a Class 2 for anyone under. The Federal government has a law proposed called the Megan Meier
Cyberbullying Prevention Act which says anyone who has committed this will get a fine or no more

Cyber-bullying is an issue at hand that has been becoming more and more popular. I think that it is a horrible way to express your feelings to others when they could be said and shared in completely different, better ways. Also, I think that people just do it to get out their anger, anxiety or other mixed emotions inside because they have no idea what else to do
