Introduction:
- Problem solving meetings are essential in every company
- To ensure that meetings are effective, planning a problem-solving meeting is very important to make sure that ideas are generated, problems are solved and goals are achieved.
1) Info sharing / problem-solving & decision-making meetings:
- In many companies or organisations, people meet regularly to exchange information.
- Before every shift, Carol could call a meeting with Wan Kit in which indicating what areas can be improved in the day-to-day operations (Sales, service etc).
- During the morning briefings (meetings), Wan kit could also share their concerns while working so that Carol will be aware of them and they could discuss together and find ways to tackle on them.
- During meetings, the group may decide to take some action or make a change in existing policies or procedures. In the Case of Sundown Bakery, they may take into consideration about which suppliers for the different baking ingredient company they should contract, whether or not they should cut on certain expenses or introducing a new menu etc.
2) Setting an Agenda:
- A list of topics to be covered in a meeting
- Before every meeting, Wan Kit has to list done the subject matters that have to be discussed
