TV violence

For my television show I watched Malcolm in the middle. It's a show about an American family with a mother, father, and their five sons. they live in a two bedroom house and are just making it by, even though both parents work. To me this is very realistic because most families with both working parents and five children are not rich with money. They don't get along for most everything, but when they need each other they are there for one another. The boys are all different in ways that make them unique. Although they are all different they are also similar in ways as well. One of the episodes I watched, they went to the father's family reunion. His side of the family wasn't found of his wife and not to caring for the boys as well. They treated the mother so badly and we're so mean to her that she cried. Ann this wasn't typical of her, after all she is a tough mother of five rough boys. So the father and sons stepped up to ruin the runion. The father confronted his dad about the abuse his wife endured and gave him a new outlook on life, so to speak. As for the boys they did what they did best and wreaked havoc on the decor. And when they left even though they ruined the party, they were closer than before. To me the way things happened were realistic, all the crazy antics that happened would probably not have happened in real life. But the way they stuck up for their mother was very real. Most people wouldn't let someone make their mother cry and get away with it. The family bond they have was real proving that even though they hate each other ninety percent of the time they still come together when it's needed.

For my observation I people watched at work. I work at Denny's restaurant hosting and serving, the shift I watched was when I was a host so I was up close with lots
