Venice Canals in my heart
Have you ever been to a place where you feel like you are in many countries there? My answer will be yes if someone asks me this question. It is Venice Canals which is a small and very quiet city inside this noisy and gaudy California State. Unlike another beautiful thing, Venice Canals is really a special place which brought to me not only the feeling about the modern style of America or the charming and fascination of a romantic Italia, but also the ordinary and simple of Vietnam where I was born. It is one of the most special and beautiful places I have never seen before.
My very first impression when I came to the Venice canals in the first time was it really looked like my hometown. I was born in Hoi An city which is a small countryside in the middle of Vietnam, growing up with the canals and little bridge over the water has been a beautiful part of my childhood that I will never forget. That’s why when I came to Venice, I was truly fascinated by the beauty of that mysterious place. The memory about my childhood seemed to have a chance to reappear in my mind. The canals looked like a small city which was covered with bridges, kayaks and row boats docked in front of many houses. Most of the canals were so clean that I could see through the clear water to the gravel in the bottom. Several varieties of plants and flowers lined the walkways which made the air become so pure and cool. Everything was surrounded by a quiet and peaceful atmosphere which was greatly contrast to the busy and bustle of American life outside. That was such a classical and beautiful place that I couldn’t believe that I was being in America.
Joyfulness and relaxing are the feelings Venice canals brought to me after a short period of time being there. I found the easiest and most pleasant way to get around Venice is walking.
