OBJECTIVES OF PARTIES:         Defendant was convicted in the 248th District

Court, Harris County, Doug Shaver, J., of abandoning two

children. Defendant appealed.

BACKGROUND HISTORY:        Mosley left America and went to marry in Africa, while gone she was told that her children were been looked after, meanwhile they were not, left with no food or supervision CPS got called and Mosley had to gather enough money to be sent back to America to be sent to trial for child endangerment charges

FACTS:         1) Children were left alone unsupervised while mother left to Africa

ISSUE 1:          In the eyes of the law, was the mother justified to leave her children with her oldest child of 15 years of age?

HOLDING 1:                                 No

REASONING 1:        evidence was legally and factually sufficient to support finding that defendant intentionally abandoned her children; [3] evidence was legally and factually sufficient to support finding that defendant exposed her children to an unreasonable risk of harm.
