CLOUD COMPUTING
1. What is Cloud computing?
[pic 1]
In General, the definition of cloud computing (cloud computing) is a combined utilization of computer technology (computing) in a network with the development of the cloud (cloud) which has the function to run a program or application via a computer – the computer connected at the same time, but not all of that through the internet using cloud computing.
As the clouds in the computer network diagrams, clouds (cloud) in Cloud Computing is also an abstraction of complex infrastructure in did. it is a method of computing in which related information technology capabilities are presented as a service (as a service), so that the user can access it via the Internet ("in the cloud") without knowing what was in it, with it, or have control over the technology infrastructure helped her. according to a paper published in 2008 IEEE Internet Computing "Cloud Computing is a paradigm in which information is permanently stored in servers on the internet and cached temporarily on the user's computer (the client) included in it is a desktop, tablet computers, notebooks, wall computers, handhelds, sensors-sensors, monitors and others."
Computer technology-based system this Cloud is a technology that makes the internet as the central server to manage data and user applications as well. This technology allows the user to run the program without installation and allow users to access their personal data via a computer with internet access.
2.What is the benefit and drawbacks of cloud computing?
The Benefit :
1. Centralized Data
One of the advantages of this technology are located in centralized data server. These advantages make everyone can access wherever and whenever people are overhas an internet connection. For example, if you have data in google drive is connected between your computer at home and a smartphone, you can access the data atthe same time as the data you are already using the servers of google drive.
2. Flexible
This technology makes it easy for us to access your data anywhere if terhuung to the internet network. For example, if you are able to access data stored in Google's drive from a home computer, you can also access the data from your smartphone or other device which terhuung with the internet.
3. Have a high scalability
Other advantages, you can increase or decrease the capacity of the server resources used. For example, if your RAM is full because of the many to access your application, you do not need to buy new RAM, but simply ask cloud providers to upgrade your memory.
