3.1 Directors

Singapore Telecommunications currently has 10 members in its Board of Directors seating as of FY2014. They are

Mr Simon currently is the Director of many different companies including CapitaLand Limited and Fonterra Cooperative Group. He was also appointed Executive Director and President of Temasek Holdings (Private) limited, before retiring in 1st July 2011. He holds a Diploma in Business Studies from The University of South Pacific

Appointed Group CEO on 1st April 2007, Ms Chua has overall responsibility for SingTel’s consumer business, Group Enterprise and Group Digital Life. Joined SingTel in 1989, she has worked her way up from a Treasurer and held different positions since then namely Group CFO and Coe. Ms Chua sits on the board for numerous other organizations as well such as Bharti Airtel Limited and Bharti Telecom Limited. Holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (First Class Honours) from University of Singapore

Appointed on 11 May 2012, Mr Bobby is also from the Member of Council of Presidential Advisers and Chairman of NTUC Fairprice. Mr Bobby serves on the boards of different organizations such as Singapore Labour Foundations, and Temasek Holdings. He also was the Managing Partner of KPMG Singapore from 1992 until his retirement in September 2005. Mr Bobby holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Singapore.

Appointed into the Board in 2008. Mrs Fang was Chairman of Great Eastern Holdings Limited as well as Chairman of its insurance subsidiaries until her retirement in April 2014. She was appointed Managing Partner in 1996 while working for Ernst & Young during her 30 years of service. Being a Director for numerous other companies such as Banyan Tree Holdings Limited and MediaCorp Pte Ltd, Mrs Fang qualified as a Chartered Accountant in London in 1973, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Appointed into the Board in 2015, Mr Venky is one of the Managing Partners of Menlo Venture, a 39-year-old top tier Silicon Valley venture capital firm. He focuses on investments in the consumer and enterprise sections. He sits on the Board in numerous other organizations such as Avid Networks, Bit sight Inc. and Taipei Inc., He was the founder of Trigon Technologies prior to joining Menlo Ventures as well. Mr Venky holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economic-Mathematic from Reed College and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Applied Science
