Introduction.
One of the most significant developments that occurred in the world of education is distance learning and education. Distance learning or online training has become an important part of training for organizational employees whereas online education is playing a major role in the academic field. Distance learning has allowed millions of individuals to enhance their careers, become more qualified, and obtain positive changes in their lives. There are many benefits someone can receive from online learning. Convenience is a benefit because students can take the classroom with them and have access whenever needed, and online learning works around a student schedule. Richer class discussion can develop from distance learning because there is no lecture setting, in which a student may be shy and for that reason tend not to join the class discussion. Learning online gives you the time to think about a meaningful contribution and provides you with more confidence to share your views. Also you can interact with a wider group of people online, and you can approach people easier online. Other benefits with online learning are more friendships develop, there is deeper interaction with learning content, different learning styles can are accommodated, and there is a diversity of views by different people. As a student currently pursuing an online education had the experience of getting a formal education, and will discuss how the state of academics was prior to this increase in online learning. Within the discussion, also provide how technology factored into the online learning industry to help with its success. How online learning was accepted by individuals and universities, embraced or resisted needs mentioning, as well how the public responded to new technology that came with online learning.
