Introduction

Mr. Green is a small business owner and he currently runs small IT infrastructure that includes several stand alone machines. The operating system installed on these machines is Windows 7 Home Premium. Due to the substantial growth in business operations, Mr. Green is now planning toward networking, for which he wishes to install Windows 7 Ultimate version, as it is likely to provide the systems with required networking features.

In order to have consultation about installing Windows 7 Ultimate version, Mr. Green has approached me as I have been providing services as a private computer consultant since last few years. In this paper, I include the features and methods to install Windows 7 Ultimate version.

Capabilities of Windows 7 Ultimate Version

Windows 7 Ultimate is the most versatile and powerful version in the range of Windows 7 OS (Bradley, 2009). This version adds an encryption tool for hard drive, capability of being accessing directly, and more importantly it provides the feature of remote connectivity, in order to meet the increasing needs of remote users. In addition, the ultimate version offers language pack with support of more than 35 languages (Reisinger, 2009).

Mr. Green should know about the above capabilities of Windows 7 currently, while as the network grows, he would be helped by the features of Windows 7 such as user account control, enhanced language support and excellent communication and multimedia facilities. Especially due to the User Account Control feature, the network would become more secure. The version would be useful for Mr. Green as the business grows, since it would cost very little to install the ultimate version on all the new systems. in addition, when the business would grow in international context, the ultimate version would support the business in forming virtual companies
