In today's day and age, technology has become so widespread and new developments are constantly emerging and those who are unable to keep up, will eventually lose out in the long-run. Consequently, a major weakness that OSIM has is in its inability to cope up with modern developments. This poses a significant threat when functioning in Germany as they have a good reputation and achievements in science and technology. Apart from this, they are also known for being innovative and adapting inventions to its own industries through infusing products and processes with new ideas and capabilities or recombining elements of old, stagnant sectors into new, vibrant ones. This is evident from that fact that, most of the Chinese products we buy every day are produced by German-made machinery, and the companies that make them are thriving. This by itself shows the technological dominance that Germany has in the market. The threat that German companies will overtake and reproduce similar but more creative and interesting OSIM products will pose as a constant competition to the sustainability of OSIM in Germany. In order to ensure that OSIM does not lose out in the long run, the company should focus on ensuring its sustainability through innovations and making its products more attractive which will continue to capture the attention of its buyers not only in Germany, but as well as worldwide, otherwise an unsuccessful business expansion would mean a tremendous loss of profit. Apart from this, OSIM is vulnerable to the ever changing tastes of consumers as consumer demands governs the sales of OSIM's products and thus will be greatly affected unless it strives to constantly improve to stay relevant in the market.
