Romina’s Heavenly Angels Montessori Registration System a Preliminary Investigation in System Analysis and Design

I. Introduction

A. Overview

The Romina’s Heavenly Angels Montessori School established since 1999 because there’s no Montessori build in Sto.Domingo Nueva Ecija, before it was called Heavenly Angels Montessori and after two years it became Romina’s Heavenly Angels Montessori because one of the associates built another school in town.It offers pre-school, elementary and high school.

The Romina’s Heavenly Angels Montessori School enrollment system involve manual process. The process of keeping record is also manually kept by the registrar. The record of the students are unorganized caused by this process. During enrollment the students or their guardians filled up a form and passed it to the registrar to manually stored on Microsoft Excel(Ms Excel) the basic information and the subjects enrolled by the students.

The purpose of our system is to help the school in minimizing their work and to store the files of the students secured and organize. This system help them to lessen the time they consume in manual transaction and also this system features to add new records or update the existing records and delete the stored information of the students from the database.

The vision of Romina’s Heavenly Angels Montessori is to authorized as a continuing learning institution with excellence in education, Romina’s Heavenly Angels Montessori is striving to correspond to the expectations of the expanding society for qualitative and competitive educational services, leading the way towards the strengthening of our country’s bid for sustained growth in the future.

MISSION

The mission of Romina’s Heavenly Angels Montessori as an institution aims to provide quality education in a Montessori way. Inspired by the moral values and good will to the community it serves; it commits itself to the integral formation of the youth within its care. Thus the form committed and responsible citizens with the deep respect for humanity and the society.

II. PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION

A.) Problem Definition and Opportunity Development

The Romina’s Heavenly Angels Montessori School has a problem in their enrollment, the problem are manual recording of data/information, every year they have to make a new list of the students in excel, after the forms are being collected they will encoded the information about the student, if theregistrar did not understand the penmanship about the information of the student, the registrar will record what the he/she saw in the registration form.
