ABSTRACT

In this assignment I will analyze the external environment and internal resources and capabilities of my employer Nokia Siemens Networks, a leading global enabler of communications services. In this analysis, I will use some theoretical frameworks such as PEST analysis, porter’s five forces and value chain models.

It is worth mentioning that NSN was the outcome of a huge merger between Nokia and Siemens, Nokia and Siemens decided to merge their both SBU (Telecom Networks division) for some strategic reasons we will discuss later in this assignment.

1 MY ORGANIZATION: NOKIA SIEMENS NETWORKS

Nokia Siemens Networks is a leading global enabler of communications services. The company provides a complete, well-balanced product portfolio of mobile and fixed network operator infrastructure solutions.
