Introduction

 Brief History of e-Magsasaka

e-Magsasaka is an online platform which shortens the fruits and vegetables supply chain by directly connecting the two most important stakeholders: the producers and the buyers. Through this, we create impact by increasing the income of the farmers and reducing the cost for the business and the consumers. Their company envisions a sustainable agriculture sector where Filipino smallholder farmers are empowered through their direct involvement in the value chain of businesses. Using technology, they aim for their farmers to be more educated of current and potential market conditions and in turn, enabling them to become better farmer-entrepreneurs.
