NUMMI PLANT STUDY

SYNOPSIS :

This article talks about the NUMMI plant , a joint venture between GM and TOYOTA. It focuses on the turnaround of the GM plant with no major changes in the infrastructure.

The production and management system changes were analyzed with pre and post NUMMI scenarios. It could be seen that there is no major changes in the workforce, but the systems were changed.
