Recording Your Time
Non-exempt employees must record their hours on the computer.
Accurately recording all of your time is required in order to be sure that you are paid for all hours worked. You are expected to follow the established procedures in keeping an accurate record of your hours worked. Time must be recorded as follows:
• Punch in immediately before starting your shift.
• Punch out immediately after finishing work before your meal period.
• Punch in immediately before resuming work after your meal period.
• Punch out immediately after finishing work.
• Punch immediately before and after any other time away from work.
Exempt employees may be required to accurately record their time worked in accordance with federal and state wage and hour law.
All employees subject to this policy are required to accurately record all time worked.
The workweek starts on Saturday and ends on Friday.
Employees are prohibited from punching the time clock of another employee, if an employee clocks in or out for another employee, this will be grounds for immediate termination of both parties.
