This will continue to evolve into the future and already is making breakthroughs within the mobile phone payment processing type system.  As banking continues to stride toward online banking so will electronic payment processing systems.

Decision support system (DSS)

This allows data to be inputted and analyzed with different variables to aid in deciding if a decision should be made.

This system has made the decision making process more efficient and has effectively improved companies profit while aiding in making complex beneficial decisions.  Before this it was up to human analysis of reports which is extremely time-consuming and allows for human error.

The future effect will be that this technology will help businesses stay competitive and increase the level of good effective decisions being made on a consistent level that will give businesses a better model for success.  As with all systems as technology improves so will these systems.

This has allowed global companies to facilitate decisions to lower-management as to keep with organizational decision making.  Standards.  Simplifies how and what information is disseminated.

This allows information to flow easier throughout an office and this increases productivity.

This system allows data-processors to input data into spreadsheets or emails and other various methods that allows this information to travel quickly between office employees as well as customers. Prior to this people would have to physically deliver information to other employees and this was time-consuming and delayed responses back to customers and slowed down productivity.

With all the virtual interactions and various office programs information will continually be more accessible to different departments within an office or network and will allow productivity to improve as well as simplify the job of these employees.

Expert System (ES)

This allows for one to get expert analysis or help quickly and electronically.  An example of this would be WebMD that would allow a professional to get expert help on symptoms and aid the doctor in diagnosing illnesses more effectively and efficiently.  This does not mean test will not need to be run but could advise a doctor on what test are more important to be performed initially.

This allows more researched and detailed information from an expert without having to ask a doctor for every little symptom and can save time with the information attained from these systems to help the doctor more efficiently utilize his or her time making the doctor’s office much more efficient.  Prior to these systems one would have to explain symptoms to assistant and then the doctor would still have to go over everything again well now advanced information can be obtained to further assist the doctor.

This will allow the workload of doctors and health professionals to become more manageable because of electronic experts that can assist other health professionals take a more active role in helping doctors diagnose and treat illnesses in a more efficient manner.
