City Life Vs Country Life

City life or Country life? That is a debate that has dragged on for decades. Some people like the peace and quietness of the country life and some people like the busy streets of the city. I personally like the city life better. There are many advantages to living in the city; but there are also many disadvantages to living in the city. Country life is great but not too many people could live in the country. There are advantages to living in the country: but there are also many disadvantages to living in the country.

There are many advantages of living in the city. The main advantage of living in the city is fast access to anything you want. The convenience of the city is really nice for people especially children. Children who grow up on the farm usually come to big cities for education. According to Julia Story from EHow “Cities have multiple forms of education such as colleges and universities. Libraries and museums are available in cities. Entertainment is readily accessible in cities in the form of movie theaters, amusement parks and restaurants” (Story 1). Some of the other advantages of living in the city are easy access to health care professional. If you live in the city you have more privacy then if you live in the country. People in the village tend to know each other and are more closer than people in the city. “Village life usually includes a close community of families that all know each other. Living in a small town can create a lack of privacy, as neighbors often know what is going on each other's lives” (Story 2). In India the village I grew up in a lot of people knew each other. People who live in the city have more job available then people who live in the village.

City life is great but there are also many advantages for living in the country. One of the most common things we hear from people who live in the village is that it is more peaceful. “According to Mariana Mohamad, 24, life in village get more advantages because it is has not factories, not busy with transports and clean from pollution sound, air ,water and others. I think life in village safer than life in city. The security at village more ensured” (Word Press). Where I came from it was peaceful because you would not hear a lot of cars or trucks going around it was very quiet. The other arguments for living in the village is there is low standard, fresh food and less crime. “Interim Nurul Wahidah Shariffudin, 24, says, life in village peaceful, and has not crime. So dweller will safe and live in happy without stress such as the people who live in city” (Word Press). There is less crime because a lot of people know each other and are friendly to each other.
