Comparing the Roman Empire and the Han Dynasty
The Han Dynasty and the Roman Empire have many things in common. They also have many differences. The falls of the empires were the same and they both had poor leadership. They were different by the way that they came to power. Overall the Han Dynasty and the Roman Empire are alike in many ways.
Both the Roman Empire and the Han Dynasty both suffered from Germanic invasions which made them decline in power. They were both abrogated by the same conflicts. This was because of the great military power of the German legions trying to invade the empires. It was very expensive to protect their boarders from invasions by the Germans. Soon their economies began to suffer from protecting their boards from the invasions. They could not expect to advance with poor leadership and German invasions.
Even though they were similar in their fall they were very different in their rise. The Han Dynasty rose to power by applying legalism as their set government. Throughout the years the Han Dynasty, legalism proved to be a strict but prosperous government. It would prove to be the perfect form of government. Whereas the Roman Empire advanced with a republic government.
