Executive Summary
Kathmandu is one of leading retailers of clothing and equipment for travel and adventure in Australia and New Zealand. Its sustainable operation mainly originates from its flexible strategies. Since, the purpose is to provide some advices to the Board and Senior Management of Kathmandu on its strategic operation, this report will assess the operational environment and strategies of Kathmandu, as well as the relationship between the value of the company and them.
Firstly, through the SWOT analysis method, the internal environment and external environment of Kathmandu will be review in this report. After showing the opportunities and threats on political, economic, technological, globalization, demographic and industrial factors, Kathmandu also has internal strengths, such as strong brand, professional management team, and shortages including deficiency of products assembling line, Furthermore, it will pay attention to the interest of stakeholders such as suppliers, customers, technological employees, competitors, and government associating with the interest of shareholder.
