WCONLINE is a convenient way to schedule Writing Center appointments for MCOM 3010, LGST 3010, MGMT. 3010 (OB), MCOM 6130 (Financial Communication) and other writing intensive courses. The following step-by-step instructions will guide business students through the simple registration and scheduling process.
Student Instructions for How to Schedule Business Writing Appointments through WCONLINE
- Copy and paste the following link into your browser: https://tulane.mywconline.com
- Register for an account under First Visit. (Once you have initially registered and are a returning student, log in below.)
- Fill out the account registration form. You MUST use your Tulane e-mail address.
- Click Register when you are finished. A box will appear telling you that you have successfully registered. You will also receive an e-mail that you have registered successfully.
- After you have registered, you have to log in. Remember, you MUST use your Tulane e-mail address.
- When you open WCONLINE you will see that it contains three different schedules: 1. Business Writing Center FALL 2016 2. LGST 3010 FALL 2016 3. MCOM 6130 Financial Communication FALL 2016
- All business students—unless they are enrolled in LGST 3010 or MCOM 6130— should sign up on the Business Writing Center Fall 2016 schedule.
- When the dark blue, gray, and white appointment grid appears, first check the weekly dates at the top of the screen.
- Then, look for the name of the tutors on the left side of the screen. The white time slot boxes are open appointments.
- Left click on the white box to make an appointment. Each appointment is 30 minutes. For each writing assignment, students get one appointment.
- Hit Save to save the appointment. The appointment will appear as an orange box on the schedule.
- When you make an appointment, you will receive a confirmation e-mail recapping the appointment details.
- Follow these same steps to cancel or re-schedule an appointment.
LEGAL STUDIES (LGST 3010) STUDENTS
- Students in Legal Studies 3010 should sign up for LGST appointments only on the LGST 3010 Fall 2016 schedule.
- Legal Studies students should look for their designated tutors. LGST tutors are associated with specific professors and class sections. LGST students MUST use the designated tutors who are assigned to the students’ class sections. The white time slot boxes are open appointments. Left click on the white boxes to schedule appointments.
- LGST students get one appointment with the Legal Coach and one appointment with the Writing Tutor for each LGST paper.
