Life is a battle in which humans struggle to accomplish greatness, Happiness, and success. It is human nature to set goals for oneself in order to progress constantly throughout one's lifetime. In order to achieve a goal, one must be well persuaded with his identity , and his country’s beliefs in order to work through obstacles and climb mountains one faces without being contradicted .
One important aspect in our live is that we need shelter. A place to call home and Identity to know What type of person are we? . I strongly agree with Andy Warhol when he said “The most exciting attractions are between two opposites that never meet.” I found that comparing the life style of Mahmoud darwish ,who lived in Palestine and monitored all the bloody events and the Zionist massacre there , and Contee Cullen, the African American , looking at his home town ( AFRICA) from a distance , he haven’t been there before , interesting whereas they both are having strange anger toward humiliation in their countries , they both see that they are part of their countries .
Many people mix things up when it comes to love or anger towards their country , contee Cullen loved the scenes and even the color of the people in Africa , though he strongly rejected their belief in “ heathen god “ while he preferred the American belief in Christianity , also he hated how they are turned from free people to abandoned slaves . on the other side , ZIONIST INVADERS is the symbol of humiliation to Mamoud darwish . they humiliate him in his country , as they took his country and killed the girls and people overthere . Contee cullen and mahmoud darwish hated being humiliated by anyone or any power .
