Completing the Essay Worksheet
Answer the following questions to help complete your final essay:
- Draft an introduction for your essay based on the best practices you studied this week. Your introductory paragraph should be 5 to 7 sentences. Remember: Your introduction should include a hook to capture the attention of your audience and the last sentence of your introductory paragraph must be your thesis statement.
Racism is all around the world today. Many people use violence to solve their problems with racism. Some kill themselves because of unfairness and their emotional stress causes a problem to their bodies. I think now day’s racism should be over and everyone should be treated equally. Inequality causes violence, unfairness, and emotional stress. As for these outcomes they should be solved by being equal no matter what ethnicity and color you are.
- Draft a conclusion for your essay based on the best practices you studied this week. Your paragraph should be 5 to 7 sentences.
As long as racism is going on, the violence will never stop. Fairness will never come down to happening. Emotional stress on people will just continue to get worse. My opinion is for racism to be discontinued and allow everyone to be equal. Race or color shouldn’t matter on how you will be treated. It’s unfair to those who have to deal with racism every day and have to end up with life consequences because people aren’t being treated equally.
- How will you use the feedback you received on your Week 5 body paragraph draft assignment to revise your paper as you get ready for your final submission in Week 7? If you did not submit your Week 5 assignment, summarize one goal you have for revising your paper in Week 7. Explain in 2 or 3 sentences.
I will use the feedback given to me on my assignments very well. I do know I need some revising in my body paragraphs and I will revise those well. I might end up writing new paragraphs but I’m not quite sure.
