Here are the directions/basic rubric:

The essay is due, TYPED, at the BEGINNING of the Study Bell prior to taking the exam.

The essay should use all 5 documents and information from the Background Essay, it should be a minimum of 4 paragraphs long.

The thesis should be a clear answer as to which consequence was the most important.

The introduction paragraph should have information about the printing press and the thesis statement.

The 1st body paragraph should be about the consequence DIDN'T think was the most important. You need AT LEAST TWO pieces of evidence as to how the printing press is connected to that consequence. You also need to explain WHY it was a consequence of the printing press.

The 2nd body paragraph should be about the consequence you DID pick. You need AT LEAST TWO pieces of evidence that show how the printing press is connected to that consequence. You also need to explain WHY it was a consequence of the printing press.

The conclusion should have the reasons as to why you chose one consequence over the other (the "Although" statement) and a restatement of the thesis. You may want to make a connection to modern day/ your life if applicable.
