Impact of NGO:s, IO:s, States, Trans-natiuonal actors and individuals and the media coming together. Different strands (experiences) about Globalization? The relationship between local and global.
1.1) Political: Rule of law, expansion and government
- What happens globally does affect what happens locally
- Individuals states go global
- Relationship between Russia, China and US
- Expansions of nations in the EU through EU
- Question whether globalization is an interdependent matter; states are not necessarily equal. Example: Superpower US dominating Iraq
- Interdependancy between Africa, US
- Black diamond, Sieraa Leone
- Not only resources, also Human rights
- Globalization of power
1.2) Economic: Interdependancy dependent on trade
- Cheaper goods and services
- Price of labor
- Natural resources
- Monetary policy EMU
- Commercial powers stronger or weaker dependent on inflation and deflation and currencies

- US embodies globalization; melting pot of immigrants with varying nationalities, ethinicities, religions, economic statuses, social preferences.

2. What was The European Enlightment?
Fundamental change towards the development of obejctive science, morality and law, liberalization time of change; new flows of ideas from western europe, such as separation from state and church. Scholars of Globalization will trace it back to E.E. → adopted as American ideas during Am Revolution. Notions such as Information should be free.
