Big companies understand the importance of aligning themselves with success. You can’t watch a sporting event, music concert or television show without noticing how these companies leverage success. If you’re a fan of NASCAR or INDY racing, you see the main sponsor and all of the smaller sponsors proudly displaying their logo on the cars, driver suits and even on the car dash to be seen by the on-board cameras.
In the world of team sports, you often see “Official Battery of the … League.” Individual athletes sign multi-million dollar endorsement deals with Nike, Adidas and other sports companies. But, you also see Oil companies, insurance and accounting firms and other sponsorships that don’t always have a clear connection to the athlete. What does the global accounting firm KPMG have to do with Phil Nickelson or golf? In a word, it’s all about aligning with success. As a local or regional business, you usually don’t have these same opportunities. You can certainly sponsor a Little League team, but the success connection may end up looking more like the Bad News Bears.
But, PA Elite Scouting is now offering you and your company the limited opportunity to align your brand with the region’s top high school athletes. As you probably know, PA Elite Scouting has been working with elite scholastic athletes and their families for many years. For the athlete, we offer the ability for them to be seen by more college scouts, ongoing skills development and the opportunity to package their talent as a personal brand that stands out in front of college scouts. Do you think your business might have benefited from alignment with Lebron James in his early days? Of course, because that alignment shows your support for student athletes who perform at the highest level and that connection translates into higher status for your company.
