Competitive factors success is reflective of the decisions ford makes to ensure success for example, investing in technology to enhance your services or taking measures to increase customer base. With all this, you have to know your competition, have a strong marketing base, and prepare for the future. Ford has a slogan that goes in the marketing strategy. Ford Employs “Built Ford Tough” which basically means that Ford’s Motor Vehicles is better and more equipped for traveling and daily driving.

The automotive industry is specifically a large-scale manufacturer of automobiles. The automotive industry is inherently massive, competitive, and it is expected to undergo major restructuring in the near future. Automobiles today resemble “computers on wheels” because of the increasing number of digital systems under the hood and inside the passenger cabin. With each model year, vehicle manufacturers offer more complicated electronic systems addressing vehicle safety, and making the environment a much cleaner place by making the green-oriented vehicles. In today’s world automotive electronics will now have an account for 22 percent of a vehicle's cost and are projected to increase to up to 40 percent by 2010.

• 2009 Mini Cooper uses $67.09 worth of premium gasoline at 34.5 mpg, and 2009. The Cooper sales at $18,500 and one of the least expensive cars in the test. The Cooper was the least expensive car built and held least fuel.

• Volkswagen Jetta TDI uses $55.22 worth of diesel at 38.1 mpg4th Place. The Jetta Prices at $22,270, that makes the jetta better equipped than the other entire hybrids base on models and that if feels more of a normal car.
