In this assignment my partners and I should compare the education between Saudi Arabia and United States. We mentioned the history, system management, and the official uniform for both countries.
First, the history of education in Saudi Arabia. When Saudi Arabia formally became a nation in 1932, education was limited for a select few Islamic schools. Today, education from primary to college is open for every Saudi citizen. The education management in Saudi Arabia is primarily under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education. The highest authority that supervises education in Saudi Arabia is the Supreme Committee for Educational Policy, established in 1963. In the last we talked about the school uniform in Saudi Arabia. The uniform for the girls in primary school students consists of a long-sleeved white blouse with a long rose-colored sleeveless dress. The junior high uniform comprises a long dark green skirt and a long-sleeved white blouse whereas the uniform of high school students includes a long navy blue skirt with a long-sleeved white blouse. The uniform for the boys in primary and high school is Thoub.
The education in Untied States has undergone dramatic transformations at various times since its origins in the 1600s, reflecting changes in the social life and culture of the nation. The school was built by the colonist. The education system in USA offers a rich field of choices for international student. We talked about grading also, you should find out the U.S. equivalent of the last level of education you completed in your home country. Most schools in the United States do not require uniforms, but instead enforce a standardized dress code of what types of clothing are appropriate for students to wear to school. The schools that do require uniforms, or a more common standard dress code in towns and suburbs. Typically, students will wear collared, buttoned shirts, with a tie for boys and a tie for girls, worn with khaki trousers, and a belt, depending on the age of the school's student body. Skirts of a modest length are occasionally an option for girls.
