Specific – Specifying the objectives we wanted
In beginning of the forming of the group, we had to get use to ea other before laying out boundaries and objectives. During the forming stage of our group we were often procrastinated as we had no set objectives, other than our common sense.
However, during the norming stage we became more effective at work. Perhaps this would be noticed by the changes we received for our assignments, we got higher marks each time. We set rules amongst ourselves so we could work towards are on deadlines, for instance, when work was given we would initiate and distribute work equally. Another objective we set was compromising time to meet, and turning up early to these meetings. We also shared the round of given each member a chance to speak, explore their imaginations and share our views on how the work should be done.
Summarizations of our objectives:
• Meeting our own deadlines
• Compromise a time to meet
• Turning up early to meetings
• Equality in sharing ideas, views and imaginations
• Respect one another
• To Make decisions together
• Get work done and rehearse presentations
Measurable – Were we able to measure whether we were meeting the objectives or not
Most of the time we were able to meet the measures of our objectives, but we did have a hiccup on meeting o time. We also had issues with work being contributed equally, perhaps for matters likes members felt they hadn't got the skills to do a certain task, so smaller tasks were given to them instead.
