AJE Group is a multinational company which deals with the manufacturing and distribution of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. This company was started by the Añaños Family in Ayacucho, located in Peru and now it’s headquarter is in Lima, located in Peru. This Group is famous for its chief products i.e.; Kola Real and Big Cola. AJE Group focuses their business i.e.; selling of drinks towards the population which is neglected by the number of leading brands in the world, which are focused only towards the consumers with high purchasing power.
AJE Group is privately owned by Grupo Embotellador ATIC of Madrid, located in Spain, the company owned by Añaños-Jerí Family from Ayacucho, located in Peru. This group has around 10,000 employees and operates in 22 countries across five continents. Other than Mexico and Peru, AJE Group also operates in Brazil, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Venezuela and Vietnam. This Group also manages 17 trademarks in 48 different presentations of PET, Glass Bottles and also in Cans.
History of AJE Group:
In late 1980’s, during Peru’s military and terrorist conflict AJE Group began by the Añaños family in Ayacucho, located in Peru.
Expansion of AJE Group in the major cities of Peru, i.e.; Plant at Huancayo in 1991, Plant at Bagua in 1993 and Plant in Sullana in 1994.
Launch of Kola Real Brand in 1997 by AJE Group in Peruvian Capital, Lima.
International Expansion of the Group in Venezuela and Ecuador in 2000.
