1. What steps does your textbook’s author recommend for achieving your short term goals?

To achieve short term goals my textbook author recommends to identify your goals, put your goals in order of how important they are to you, and to choose the most important one to focus on. Identifying your goals and jotting down things that you think will help you achieve them is definitely going to help you in the long run versus just going at it and trying to achieve it without having put thought into it. Putting them in a list of which ones most important to least important to me, will help you achieve them that much better because you will be determined to achieve them as you remind yourself that goals importance level. Focusing on one goal at a time, the one you select as most important first, and giving all your time and attention to achieve this goal and strive to do your very best.

2. What steps does your textbook’s author recommend for achieving your long term goals?

To achieve long term goals my textbook author recommends that a person must fully understand themselves including what they are good at, what their strengths and weaknesses are, and what brings them pride and satisfaction. Long term goals can happen to change throughout a person's life time, as like when we grow up we learn new things or adapt to new ways and goals and desires evolve around many different things. To achieve long term goals one must at one time or another make a sacrifice or maybe even a few to get there or go through many obstacles to get there even. When making long term goals they must be reality and must be something you can reach one way or another.
