Mariah Cecil Beowulf Assignment Theatre 1120
Power Point Slide - 2 Beowulf's House
Mood - Most of the pictures are dark and deep. All of the pictures are eerie and seem dungeon like. Not inviting. There is some light in parts of the areas but just slight. The man in the corner seems somber. The boy or girl in front of the window scene seems depressed or thinking about something important with the darkness in the front of the photo.
Color
Beige- Plain, unassuming
Brown- Uncreative, simple, normal
Line-
There is thick lines throughout the pictures, one scene a man is in the corner with the turned staircase
Texture- The middle picture is extremely clear. The others sort of hazy especially the man in the corner with the stair case.
Volume- The light covers less than half of the room. The light is placed in a particular place to draw your attention towards. The light is isolating and takes away from the whole area. Lighting gives a particular area the feeling and mood. A room full of lights is less romantic and calming then a fancy dimly light room in a restaurant.
Power Point Slide 5- Waiting for the Beast
Mood- Again the mood is extremely somber. All of the photos are landscapes and all outside of areas or places. There is a building in the far right. The main middle picture looks like a brighter side of things with a sunrise on the beach which gives a more positive tone.
Color- Most of the colors are darker with little light.
Blue- Somber, sad
Brown- Uncalming- something will happen
Black- bad, negative- something not good to happen
Line- These signs are mostly straight up and down. Nothing too different.
