Executive Summary
CleaniCare is dedicated to deliver high quality, tailored sanitary services to healthcare facilities, enabling these facilities to provide a safe environment for their operations and patients. The nature of CleaniCare’s business is a diversified medical janitorial service company, with franchising capabilities for its long-term viability. CleaniCare will rely on repeat businesses from clients to ensure the best service. Unlike other janitorial service companies, CleaniCare provides extensive services exclusively to the medical industry. This includes equipment sanitization, surgical equipment sterilization, laundry, and hazardous waste management.
Because CleaniCare does both janitorial services and other complimentary services to the healthcare industry, CleaniCare is best compared to other companies in the janitorial service industry. The janitorial market itself is unsaturated, with an estimate of over 8.2 million companies in 2022. Out of this $55.8 billion market, 5.3% of revenues is accounted to healthcare facilities. In terms of general janitorial competitors, ABM Industries holds the largest market share of 5.4%, followed by Jani-King International and ServiceMaster Global Holdings with 1.2% and 1.0% respectively.
CleaniCare’s revenues rely on four services: janitorial services, equipment sanitization & sterilization, and laundry. The bulk of revenues will depend on janitorial services as this is CleaniCare’s main business. On average, we are looking at a price of $0.40 per square foot which would be a reasonable and competitive price within the market. CleaniCare expects laundry and equipment sanitization & sterilization to be somewhat equal in revenues in the beginning. However, this depends on the clients: some facilities may use more equipment than others. We are aiming to introduce sterilization services once we have a loyal clientele base for our laundry and janitorial services. Laundry will depend on weights, pricing at $0.55 per pound. Lastly, sterilization would be measured by the number of trays sterilized. Because of the high cost of equipment as well as the care needed for these surgical instruments, the price per tray is listed at $25.00.
