The Goal
This book is a management-oriented book which is written by Dr. Eliyahu Goldratt who is a business consultant. His Theory of Constraints has become a model for systems management. First, it was published in 1984, however has been revised and published every 10 years. It is commonly used in college courses and business world with a focus towards the Theory of Constraints. It aims to apply people these concepts in real life. It is also used in management courses in unviersities to teach the importance of strategic capacity planning and constraint management.
It's first edition was published in 1984 and it was revised in 2004 as a third edition. It is 384 pages. It was written as a piece of function. Alex is the main character of novel who manages a production plant owned by UniCo Manufacturing. There are two stories in book. First one is about the situation of the company. Bill who is the company executive tells the Alex that he has three months to turn operations from unfortunate to successful. A man who is called as Jonah that is Goldratt himself helps Alex to turnover the situation with telephone calls and short meetings. Second story tells the Alex's marital life.
I plan to learn the some ways of solving questions that i will face in business and personal life. We can face these problems in every time that we won't wait in that time of period. The ways to solve them can provide me to gain a different perspective of judgments in the relations with my friends, family and relatives. Having a different perspective in situations provide me to evaluate every type of question correctly.
