We have been taught to take care of the earth resources since kindergarten. Recycling is the process of collecting used or waste materials, or things that are considered as trash to remanufacture and reproduce them into an object/product in a new condition that can be reuse and resold again. Recycling has three well-known 3R concept which are Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Many types of materials can be recycled, such as paper, plastic or metal. In the context of reduce, we buy less and use less. Use less by turning off the lights and fans, do not turn on the air conditioner if the weather is cool and have a shorter shower. We can implement the reuse phase by reusing the discarded items. Lastly we apply recycle by changing the properties of the unused material into a useful functional product. Recycling doesn’t mean reproducing an old thing into a new items, it can actually include reusing products for other purposes instead of throwing them away, for example using an imperfect tea cup as a bird feeder.

Our group has created five own made recycled product fully made by unused materials which are pen holder , shovel, flower pot, reproduced bag and enzyme. The first and the very best product of our group is the creative and good looking pen holder. It is made by unused and old magazines, glue, superglue, blade, straw and a cardboard box. In the beginning, cut the magazine page by page estimating how big your pen holder is going to be. Then, fold the pages into half and then use a blade to cut them into two smaller pages. Align the cut pages with the straw and roll it up using the straw as the heart of the rolling paper. Use glue to fix the shape of the rolled paper at the end tip of the paper, which made it looked like a colorful cigarette stick. Patiently make an enough amount of the sticks, and then measure the size of the pen holder you wanted to make, eg. 8cm x 8cm. By using superglue, pastes every sticks of the rolled paper together according to your desired design of shape of the pen holder, and left them in a less humid place to dry. 80% of the pen holder is done, the final step is to measure the size of the cardboard box (8.5cm x 8.5cm, slightly bigger creates more stable basement) and cut the cardboard box out to paste as a basement of the pen holder using superglue. Poof! The eye catching and handy pen holder is created without costing you more than RM1. It can be uses as pencil holder, a nice decoration in a room, a flower pot locater, small box for small stuff, dustbin, phone stand or even a book shelf if the size is big enough. Basically this product can be anything depends on your imagination!

Our second product - shovel is a very simple product but multifunction reproduced product. It is simply made by knife, marker pen, ruler and an empty detergent bottle. First, draw a slant line using the marker pen on the sides of the front part of the bottle, forming a 120 degree angle
