Many times people bring their outlooks, observations and access to the world with them when they go to work. These are very much the things that bring the talent out in these people while working, but sometimes they can be chauvinistic and have perceptions that lack way too much understanding; which of course creates conflict. Those conflicts come from the different personalities, ethnicities, races, sexual orientations, and population of immigrants.

People’s ignorance about race has been an issue since the beginning of time. Faults amongst co-workers can surface when skin deep issues are spoken of. Anyone you work with can have certain feelings about another race or ethnicity mostly found in stereotypes and characterizations. It’s sad to say that most of the time ignorance gets in the way of their knowledge. Even more intense concerns for many companies, are beliefs and ideas amongst the different managers can be more than debatable and ravaging to any company. Some companies offer training and programs so that everyone can see understand everyone’s ideas and not be so bias about what they believe in and feel so strongly about. The training programs give people a chance to break away from their ignorance. Employers are required by the federal anti-discrimination to enforce laws that hire and develop non-discriminatory practices based on race, age, gender, national origin, genetics, pregnancy and religion. We all know about the laws that mandate equal pay for equal work based on the job types. Civil law suits are brought against companies because employees feel like they have been racially or sexually mistreated or not given an equal opportunity.
