ABSTRACT

The present study is to discuss what factors should company focus on in order to increase internship satisfaction. It uses a quantitative approach to investigate college students’ satisfaction level toward their internship as well as identify the underlying factors of their overall satisfaction.

An online questionnaire will be designed according to the four hypotheses factors. The questionnaire focuses on four-point scale, including eight variables to investigate participants. The four-point scale refers to the following four hypotheses. The detail dimensions job itself offers influence related to the internship job satisfaction positively. The perceived quality of the supervisor influence related to the internship job satisfaction positively. Pay and welfare influence related to the internship job satisfaction positively. Peer relationship influence related to the internship job satisfaction positively.  The eight variables refer to self-development and promotion, job security, job stress/workload, communication with supervisor, perceived leadership and capability, pay, benefit/welfare, and relation with co-workers. By measuring these eight variables to find the degrees of how these four main factors influencing internships.
