ADVANTAGES OF ASSESSMENT CENTRE

Assessment center potential or current employees of several different capabilities, to evaluate the process by using a variety of techniques plurality of assessors. These include paper and pencil inventory interview, role-playing and simulation results of the assessment center process for staff selection or development. Based on the Assessment Centers, they have seven of the test methods:

  1. Biographical Interview

During this interview session, Assessors will ask some question about your previous job position and what skills that candidate have learnt before. This is a good opening to know more about the candidate’s educational background.

  1. Behavioural Event Interview

For this behavioural interview session, Candidates will solve the problem by using their skills they had learnt before to show their abilities. It will outstand a candidate’s analytical skills and problem solving skills.

  1. Role Play

Role play test a number of things. To identify how good are the candidate, his confident, how candidate thinking. Furthermore, this can identify the solving skill of the candidate and their ability. By using role play, not only individual but also group can be conduct.

  1. Group Exercise

That got a lot of the work need to work in a team, for this session every candidate will start discuss in group to show their decision making, listening skills, and the ability to delegate. Assessors will join this group exercise to watching and listening how the candidate to achieve their goal set by the assessors. It will outstand the weaknesses of candidates, for example some of the candidate will not being able to share their idea during the group exercise.
