During week 6 the client asked for an outline of recommendations and strategies that will be useful during their selection process. Instead of narrowing down regulations and processes for each individual client and their respective states I decided to put together a general overview of strategies that work throughout the United States. These strategies can be used as well for hiring employees for small, medium and big
During the selection process both the interviewee and interviewer should both be prepared. In order to have a successful interview the interviewee should be dressed professional and as well as go in with knowledge about the potential company and with a list of questions to ask during Q&A. During Q&A questions should be skillfully put together to avoid periods of awkward silence.
Organizational Goals
During this process the recruiter must determine what the needs of the company are, are they just trying to feel seats or do they want to bring quality people into their organization. We are all aware that recruitment is a numbers game but do you want someone who can meet the quota or do you want to hire a person who can do the job and provide results. Many companies who hire for numbers end up having a high turn over rate. If you don’t have the quantity you’ll have a much harder time finding the quality you’re looking for.
