A leader or a CEO‘s leadership style or theory applied has been largely debated which has multiple level of effects.
Steve Jobs was famous through Apple as charismatic pioneer of the personal computer and the electronic area.During his short lived life, he had received a number of recognitions for his strong influence in the technology and music industries. Many referred to Steve Jobs as "legendary", a "futurist" or "visionary", and has been related as the "Father of the Digital Revolution",a "master of innovation", and a "design perfectionist".
This report is aimed to analyse personality of Steve Jobs who was the co-founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Apple Inc in terms of Leadership theory he could fall under.This report is divided into six major sections.
In section 1, it defines the leadership theory and the various theories that leaders adapt. No one leader will fall on just one theory of practice as most leaders wear different hats in different situation to resolve an issue or when faced with different situations.
Section 2 goes in detail of the theories where the personality in terms of Leadership theories analysisand how they are appropriate to Steve Jobs' leadership styles. It was also discussed the extent to which Steve Jobs behaved as a transformational or transactional leader or as both. In the section 3, it describes the justification of agreement or disagreement to the statement to which he was described as best despite of his unmatched leadership theories to any text book related.
In Section 4, presents the comparison of Steve Jobs on the different in terms of his leadership attributes to other contemporary leaders. It also explains how his leadership is different from other leaders and yet successful.
Section 5, concludes this study and explains why Steve Jobs leadership attributes are different and unique toother leaders from this decade. Finally, section 6 recommends the attributes that Steve Jobs could have adapted to improve his leadership style and behaviour.
