Abstract
This is a paper is written in the form of an advertisement/application for a managerial position. As per the outline of instructor Paul Sam I will give a description of what we will be looking for in a manager to fill this position.

POSITION OBJECTIVE: The service manager is ultimately accountable for managing the operational aspects of the shoe factory. This person will oversee the manufacturing of different types and styles of shoes that our company produces. They will also coordinate with our buyers and schedule work to meet contract deadlines. The successful candidate will also be responsible for implementing safety programs, ensuring quality customer service, and managing daily activities.
SPECIFIC MANAGERIAL QUALIFICATIONS: All candidates must provide a resume with verifiable references and all references will be checked. We are seeking an individual with high moral values as well as ethical decision making skills. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal. We are seeking a manager that has a proven record of the capability to meet as well as exceed company goals in production and sales. This is a new department so we are looking to hire a person that has shown excellent leadership, planning and organizational skills, preference may be given to any person with a background in design and or the fashion industry.
REQUIERMENTS:
• Bachelors degree in Business Management
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership position overseeing 25 or more employees.
• Must have a grasp on electronic technology i.e. computer skills, fax machines, and all other means of communication for teleconferencing.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal back ground check and DMV record check.
SUMMARY of RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Set meeting rhythm and agendas for all departments to create order and accountabilities.
• Coordinate with supervisors and staff to create clear objectives and goals on a regular basis.
