Location

Magnificent Velvet cleaning services operates out of three different Gibson restaurants. We’re located at 1028 N Rush St, Chicago IL, 2105 Spring Rd Oak Brook IL and 5464 N River Rd, Rosemont IL Hours- 5pm-12am Monday-Sunday. Each restaurant location area has its own significant tourism sight-seeing attractions along with huge shopping malls across the street from Gibson. I find this as a huge advantage to my business because after a long day of shopping and touring their final stop will be to Gibson Restaurant in which my business benefits from. Unfortunately the property in which I operate my business in is owned by Gibson Bar & Steakhouse, but we do have a leased contract. The term of our contract entails that we have full power over our own business as well we have been granted the privilege to continue running our business inside of theirs facility as long as we want. Furthermore we’re not entitle to pay no monthly rent or purchase any equipment everything is furnished by Gibson restaurant. The only thing that we’re responsible for is maintenance, property taxes and insurances is handled by the owners of the restaurants.  Each restaurant has 8,000 sq. foot of space with the same exact design and layout as well as the restroom being 1,200 square foot and is located on the 2floor. Parking spaces is located near back the restaurant in which Gibson Velvet Car Services will detail and park your car for you.

Supply and Inventory Management

There’s no one specific supplier in which we purchased our supplies from. In fact we have multiple option available such as; Walgreens, Family Dollar, Target, K-mart, Wal-Mart or Warehouse will do. The prices to obtain our supplies at such store as these are always straight forward. By law items has to be sold for the price that is listed on each item negotiation is against store policy. We’re really not that concern with running out of cleaning and hygiene supplies because each store has plenty of supplies stocked on their shelves. We purchase our supplies once every three months reason being is because when we do purchased our supplies we purchased bundles instead of the single sold items. In return this supplies last until our next restock.

Production and Distribution

The way in which we distribute and sell our products and services is by displaying it at eye level on the counter top inside of the restroom for customers to take. The moment that we first enter the restroom our first mission is to obtain cleanliness. We ensure that the restroom has and maintain a pleasant pine sol aroma with clean mop floor. Along with that each stall is stocked with toilet seat overs and toilet paper. After the cleaning is done we then prepare to offer our products. Above the sink there’s a counter top in which we stock our products for the customers to see as the wash their hands. Hygiene products such as women personal items, hairspray, make up and perfume is display on the one end of the counter near the restroom stalls for customers to take as needed, whereas the mouth wash, tic-tics, gum, and candy is display near the end of the restroom for customer to take with them as they leave out. Our music is played throughout the restroom via radio or flat screen television mounted on the far right end of the ceiling for customers to see as they exist the restroom stalls. These arrangement works well with our business and customers.
