Executive Summary

Introduction

Carrefour is the largest retailer in Europe and the second largest retailer in the world, after Wal-Mart. Carrefour is based mostly in Europe; however, the company is also located in four of the seven continents. These areas include: the Americas, Africa, Europe, and Asia. Carrefour has been on the rise in expanding into many new areas and has a focus on new and emerging markets. One of these markets is China, where Carrefour is opening seventy-three new stores.

Ethical Delimma

This part identifies the ethical delimmas of carrefour which includes: Discrimination of a blind woman in poland, bribery and corruption scandal of a branch in Beijing, china and Mismangement with lend to a very poor performance and changes of leadership in different managing area of Carrefour in Brazil.

The evaluation of these delimmas is talking about the ways that Carrefour response to their problems and issue of discrimation, bribery and corruption , Mismanagement which has help to improve alot of changes in the resolving each ethical delimmas of Carrefour.
