The compensation program that would link pay to performance for employees of the helping hands nonprofit organization will be based upon the number of individuals that the employee assist within their community. As well as the grant funding and donations funding that an employee brings to the organization. The helping hands nonprofit organization helps to donate food and funding in order to help individuals to keep their utilities on within their homes. Within this organization each employee is designated a sector of the city, and it is the responsibility of this employee to ascertain the percentage of the population within his or her sector that is in need of services, and to ascertain the means by which to distribute these services to those individuals.
Each employee within the organization starts with a base pay of $25,000 annually, and in addition to this base pay the employee who provides the food and utility services to the greatest number of individuals in a six-month period will receive a 10% bonus or $2500, as well as to have their name placed upon a plaque in the business office. In addition, employees receive a 10% increase in their pay for every $10,000 in donations and grant funding that they can bring into the organization. This means that every employee receives a $2500 pay increase or bonus for every $10,000 in funding that they bring into the organization for operational expenses. This portion of the pay for performance compensation program is the most lucrative aspect of the program, due to the fact that individuals have a means by which to continuously increase their salaries through these pay increases, while simultaneously providing a means by which to fund the organization's activities in an appreciable manner.
