Competition is difficult to overcome without the proper skills or techniques to compete or withstand the pressures of change within an industry. With the current recovering economy organizations are finding themselves behind the times when it comes to technology, products and services, and existing competition. The business world is a highly complex place that needs information or ideas that lead to positive results. Instilling poise and a sense of meaning to their work force, an organization must have positive thinkers and dedicated employees that have an organizational mind-set. This is created from top management and then dispersed down through its shareholders and further, to management. The president of the organization must drive the message home and ensure strict adherence to his or her policies, but still maintain an open minded approach about change. This creates positive thinking and authority for all employees to follow. By distributing information about the company and expectations for the future of the company, confidence and attitudes of employees become affected in a positive way resulting in a positive outcome. External factors play an important part in identifying the need for change. Although it is difficult to control it is vital to identify areas of concern especially when your organization is struggling to compete. For example, the threat of new entrants into the personnel placement industry, this has affected the way StilSim recruiting techniques are handled.
