I visited the Transparency International at http: //www .transparency .org and researched the material on corruption. A couple things I find most interesting are water corruption and health corruption. I find water corruption to be the most interesting considering all living things on this planet require water. It surprised me about how polluted much of our water is. Without water all living things will ultimately die. Water corruption is not claiming that we will be running out of water however some waters are increasingly being polluted while some of the people are attempting to bribe other people to not disclose anything about it. Many people purposely pollute our waters with such things as gasoline, oil, waste and many others.
Water Corruption
Corruption will keep individuals thirsty and also sick. It distorts regulations as well as costs for drinking water and sterilization, which makes it easier for waterborne illnesses to increase. Corruption additionally has effects on service delivery and also billing. Informal suppliers, usually the sole way to get water delivery to the poor, are able to use extortion and even bribery. In a few growing countries, corruption may add 30-45 percent to the cost of connection to a water system. In these circumstances, households face a challenge to stay alive and additionally keep away from poverty. (Beddow)
Health Corruption
Corruption in the health industry often means the difference between living and death. Poor people are affected the worst. Healthcare personnel are able to charge unofficial charges to take care of patients. Some may request bribes for medication that ought to be cost-free, or they will often allow patients who bribe them access to the medication or services before others. Corruption also costs lives whenever imitation or adulterated medications are sold to health providers.
