Introduction

The purpose of this report is describe the information systems in current years. First of all , it will analysis how the previous system which is ERP system affect the Royal Australian Mint and whether the new system suitable for this organization. In addition, this report will provide some reasons to top manager that why SDLC method could operate excellently in Blutarch MultiMedia Stop. Moreover, it plan to explain what is RFID and the relationship RFID and supply chain in the business. At last, it will identify the function of the various data collection techniques of observation, documentation review, interviews, and questionnaires in a large company.

Royal Australian Mint has a long distinguished history of making coins in Australia, it is one of the best manufacturing facilities in this world. Mint had been performing ERP system in previous years. Bidgoli claims ERP system faciliate the flow of information between all business functions inside the boundaries of the organization and manager the connections to outside stakeholders(2004). But in this system, when some extra requirements need to be added, there will always have some limitations obstruct this kind of information change. So it is clearly to know ERP system do not have adequate adaptability for change.

While the Royal Australian Mint separate business process into different parts to adopt the new system. It helps organization could adapt this system as soon as possible, because not all of business areas could change system in the short term. Otherwise the Royal Australian Mint may not functioning properly in that period of time. Moreover, manager could expressly know the strength and weakness of each areas.

Along with the quality management software add on to the new system. The Royal Australian Mint is authentically becoming a modern, and organized business. New system designed to simplify the business process, there will be a better inspection of the hours employees work each day, and staff allowed to enter their leave requests more faster than before. Meanwhile, new system will enable the organization achieve its goals to improve the efficiency governance of its business processes. In addition, prior to the upgrade, employees using manually operated forklifts to finish the production process this high level of manual handing causes individuals concern about the safety of ERP system in Mint. Now with the new system coming to the Mint, improving safety is one of significant purpose of the facility upgrade, because new system will focus on the problem security. At last, new system combined some other good systems which going to assist the need of people who wants to handle the problem outside the scope the system will decrease when people designing their own system.
