In February 2004 Facebook has been launched, it provides a platform for the users to socialize with others. Facebook has more than 845 million active users since February 2012 Users need to register before using the site, after that they can make their person profile and share things with their friends, like photos, videos, links etc. Nowadays Facebook has been so popular that many people are using Facebook.

Facebook is one of the popular social network platforms. Communication is a verbal or written form of interaction between people to give or exchange information, signals and messages (get know with each other). Apart from face-to-face, phone and letter, Internet becomes more important for communication nowadays as the development of technology speeds up rapidly. This changes our social networking style. Social networking websites function like an online community of internet users, we can share photos, express their feelings, discuss worldwide topics with friends through the online platform. Facebook is an successful example. There are millions of Internet users register Facebook accounts. It is a new habit to update ourselves and “check” friends and families’ status. Since it becomes famous, there are some other social and sharing platforms, such as twitter, Google+, Sina Weibo, MySpace. Their functions are similar to Facebook and also own a lot of followers. Twitter and Google+ are the strongest competitors.

Back to Facebook, it becomes an enormous online social network, but there are more and more problems discovered when the Facebook platform enlarges constantly. The most serious issue is the Vulnerability, which refers to the privacy. All of the post and content are save and memorize on Facebook server. It seems like privatization. Meanwhile, it shares the personal information to the third parties indirectly. These are the good points to make a thorough inquiry.
