Accountability- Responsibility to do what is ethically sound
Purpose
To demonstrate a promise and an assurance that company employees with operate in an ethically sound manner and employees will be held accountable at every level.

Compassion- Demonstrate empathy and concern for stakeholders and the communities we operate in
Purpose
To demonstrate a natural concern for the employees at every level and a willingness to mitigate risk related to this element.

Community- operating in a manner that demonstrates a common goal and interest
Purpose
At the strategic levels in the company, managers must consider the importance of sustainability, cultural and local responsibilities, regulations, and values.

Fairness- operating in an equal and just manner
Purpose
To assure stakeholders and customers that the company operates transparently and takes corrective action in a timely manner

Safety- operating in a manner to prevent unintentional harm
Purpose
To demonstrate that the company has made changes that will impact how vendors and supplies contracted by the company will operate in a safe and secure manner.
Credo:
Fairness-
We are committed to our employees. We are only as strong as our foundation. Our employees worldwide are our responsibility. We ensure to hire, contract, and retain ethical and qualified individuals and partnering manufacturers while practicing cultural diversity and fair compensation practices within our company. We seek to develop and promote our own with equal opportunity practices from lower level to upper management in a fair practice environment. We shall continue efforts to “ensure female representation at all leadership levels.” (Gap Inc, 2016)
Safety-
We are committed to ensuring our efforts to practice our ethical and moral duty to practice humane and respectful treatment of our employees and partnering factory workers. (Ferrell, Fraedrich, Ferrell, 2015) We agree and commit to work with the factory unions to ensure working environments practice equality and progression of individuals in safe and sound working environments. Community-
We at Gap our committed to our “Fill in the Gap” program to ensure the communities in which we operate hap the essentials need to instigate positive advancements through local scholarships and intern programs, encouraged factory community hubs in which our suppliers/ vendor operate providing safe and affordable housing for their employees, and to also continue our efforts to expand our P.A.C.E. program for women growth and enhancement.
